Fotovatjah wins but Panthers fall to Division I Radford

ORANGE, Calif. – The Chapman University women's tennis team took on Diviion I foe Radford on Thursday but fell 8-1. Sophomore Delara Fotovatjah scored the Panthers' point with a singles win.

The Panthers faced their second Division I opponent of the year in Radford just two days after taking on Division II Dominican. Radford quickly swept the doubles to take an early 3-0 lead.

Radford quickly clinched the win with straight set wins in five of the six singles matches. Fotovatjah avoided the sweep with a 6-3, 6-4 win in the No. 4 match.

The Panthers are back in action on Saturday at 11 a.m. in a top-40 match against Vassar.
