  • WLAX trio named to IWLCA All-West Region Team

    ORANGE, Calif. – The Chapman University women's lacrosse team capped off its first season in Division III play with three of its members named to the Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association All-Regional team. Freshman midfielder Kelsey Mackin and junior attack Victoria Wilkinson earned first team honors, with junior midfielder Lauren Mah earning a spot on the second team.

    The Chapman University women’s lacrosse team produced its highest offensive output of the season and cruised to a 23-9 win over visiting King’s College (Pa.) at Wilson Field on Sunday afternoon. Eight different Panthers scored multiple times and 12 players in all tallied goals in the win.

The overtime victory came in the Panthers’ home debut at Wilson Field and first ever as an NCAA Division III team.

Last fall, he led the Panthers in several local and global philanthropic efforts with the help of his coaching staff and women’s lacrosse alumni, pitching in to support local cancer survivors as well as education efforts in Kenya.

    Effective August 1, Chapman University Athletics has added some new and familiar faces to its coaching staff for the 2012-13 school year. Most notably, the Panthers have retained women’s lacrosse head coach Brian Eisenberg ’99 to lead the program into its first year of varsity status and play at the NCAA Division III and SCIAC levels.
  • Women's lacrosse, men's swimming join the Division III ranks

    Chapman University Athletics has officially promoted two of its sports programs from club to varsity status beginning this 2012-13 school year. Women’s lacrosse and men’s swimming and diving will compete at the NCAA Division III level and will immediately join Southern California Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SCIAC) competition along with the rest of Chapman’s athletics programs.
