Three-time honorees junior utility Pierre Masson and senior utility Dominic Tornambe top the list of nine Chapman University men’s water polo players that have been selected to the Western Water Polo Association (WWPA) All-Academic Team for the 2010-11 school year.
Five members of the Chapman University men’s water polo team have earned All-Academic awards for the 2010 season, according to the Association of Collegiate Water Polo Coaches (ACWPC). In addition, the team finished with the 16th highest grade-point average in the nation with a combined mark of 2.997.
In three previous appearances at the Western Water Polo Association Men’s Championships, the Chapman University men’s water polo team has come up winless.
