ORANGE, Calif. – The Chapman University baseball team went a perfect 3-0 last weekend on the road to becoming the SCIAC Tournament Champions for the second consecutive season. As the No. 1 team in the West region, Chapman University will host Whitman College at Hart Park this weekend in a best-of-five regional round.
Chapman finished as the top seed in the SCIAC after posting a 30-9 overall record and a 19-5 ledger in conference play. The Panthers knocked off No. 4-seed Cal Lutheran 5-2 in the championship game to go a perfect 3-0 on the weekend and earn the championship title.
Chapman and Whitman will open the regional with a game at 2 p.m. on Friday, May 17. The second game will then be played 45 minutes after the completion of the first game.
The Panthers and the Blues will head back to Hart Park to face off at 11 a.m. on Saturday, May 18. If necessary, a fourth game will be played 45 minutes after the completion of game three. A fifth and final game will be played on Sunday, May 19 at 12 p.m. if both teams are still in contention. All games will be played at Hart Park in Orange, Calif.

Free for children under 12
