  • Holloway ends freshman season with All-Region honors

    Freshman defender Faith Holloway was selected to the National Soccer Coaches Association of America All-West Region third team. Holloway was a mainstay on the Panthers’ back line, starting all 20 matches this year.

  • Trio of Panthers earn All-SCIAC honors

    The Chapman University women’s soccer team landed four Panthers on the 2016 SCICAC All-Conference Women’s Soccer team as voted on by Coaches. Senior goalkeeper Kristin Kleinow, sophomore midfielder Lindsay Erl and freshman defender Faith Holloway each earned second team honors.

    The Chapman University women’s soccer team’s run through the SCIAC Tournament came to an end with a 4-0 loss to Claremont-Mudd-Scripps on Saturday. CMS scored two goals in each half to grab the tournament title and the automatic bid into the NCAA Tournament.

Senior Kristin Kleinow stopped all five Sagehen PK attempts while senior Katie Bell drove in the lone goal of a 1-0 decision in penalty kicks.

    Pomona-Pitzer (14-1-2 overall and 12-0-2 in SCIAC) is the No. 1 seed and will host the No. 4 seed Panthers (9-8-1 overall and 6-7-1 in SCIAC) in the semi-finals of the SCIAC tournament on Wed. Nov. 2.

    Freshman Bailee Cochran recorded her first multiple goal match of her collegiate career to lead the Chapman University women’s soccer team to a 2-0 win over University of La Verne. The victory helped the Panthers clinch the four seed in the SCIAC Tournament.
