ORANGE, Calif. –  Sophomore Emily Lewis shot a team-best six-over par to lead the Chapman University women's golf team in a dual with Long Beach State. The Panthers shot a 360 as a team to finish 72-over par.

Lewis was just four strokes off the leaders in the single round competition and finished seventh individually. Freshman Kristy Harada was the next Panther on the leaderboard in 10th with a 15-over 87. Junior Brittany Bilek fired a 97 and sophomore Haylie Bantle shot a 98 to round out the team score.

LBSU did not score as a team but had five players shoot 77 or better.

Next up for the Panthers is the CLU Regals Invitational on Mar. 12-14.
