Three Panthers finish with top scores in dual match vs. Cal Lu

MOORPARK, Calif. – For the second time this season, the Chapman University men's golf team faced Cal Lutheran in a dual match, this time at Tierra Rejada Golf Club on Thursday afternoon. Unlike the dual match on March 1 at Tustin Ranch which Cal Lutheran won, all players in Thursday's match set out as individuals and no team results were recorded.

Chapman earned the top three spots on the afternoon with junior Addison De Vone finishing in first with an even-par 72. De Vone did the majority of his damage on par 5 holes, finishing three under. The junior also had the only eagle of the day for Chapman, while Barrett McGinnis and Austin Martinez each had one for Cal Lutheran.

Junior Lyon Lazare finished one stroke behind De Vone's pace scoring a 73 (+1) and had a match-high three birdies. Junior Chris Lungo rounded out the top three for Chapman with a 77 (+5). Cal Lutheran's top finisher was Kyle Code with a 78 (+6).
