Chapman Radio tips off with men's hoops Friday night

ORANGE, Calif. - For the first time in their three-year partnership, Chapman University Athletics and the the school's on-campus radio station, Chapman Radio, will broadcast Panthers men's and women's basketball games during the 2009-10 season. Chapman Radio is streaming live on the internet at www.chapmanradio.com/sports.

Chapman Radio will broadcast an yet to be determined schedule of select home games throughout the regular season beginning with the Panther men's home opener this Friday against Division III's No. 14-ranked Cal Lutheran University at 7 p.m.

Sophomore Joe Fann will handle play-by-play duties with Alex Monaco handling commentary for the team's first broadcast on Friday. Chapman Radio will go on the air live at approximately 6:45 p.m. with a pre-game show.

Chapman Radio also plans to archive each broadcast on their website.
