For the second-consecutive year, four Chapman University football players have been named Scholar Athletes by the National Football Foundation and College Hall of Fame.

Senior punter adds All-Region award to the mantle
Chapman University senior Jimmy Adranly has been named to the D3Football.com All-West Region team for the 2011 season. The punter finished the regular season ranked No. 4 in all of Division III in punting average – his third consecutive season ranked in the top-10 nationally.

Football pair earns Academic All-District selections
A pair of Chapman University football players have been named to the Capital One Academic All-District VIII team as selected by the College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA). Senior P Jimmy Adranly and junior LB Michael Mehlhaff were among the 25 Division III honorees.

No. 9 Cal Lutheran snaps Chapman's home win streak
The No. 9-ranked Cal Lutheran University football team scored 45 straight points, including 28 unanswered in the third quarter alone to defeat host Chapman University 61-31 at Ernie Chapman Stadium on Saturday night. A week after clinching their third straight SCIAC title, the Kingsmen won for the seventh consecutive time while handing Chapman its third straight loss.

Defense powers Chapman to another come-from-behind win
For the fourth time in as many games the Chapman University football team entered the fourth quarter tied or trailing. And for the third, like a magician, the Panthers found the escape hatch. Chapman earned its third come-from-behind win of the season on Saturday night, defeating visiting Claremont-Mudd-Scripps Colleges 14-9 at Ernie Chapman Stadium.

Biggest comeback in school history highlights Chapman win over Sagehens
Trailing 28-7 with just over two minutes remaining in the first half, the Chapman University football team rallied to score 31 unanswered points and completed the comeback with a 45-35 victory over host Pomona-Pitzer Colleges at Merritt Field on Saturday night. The Panthers’ 21-point deficit is the largest the team has overcome for a win in school history.
