Luzar powers Chapman to win over Rutgers-Newark

Second doubleheader split for water polo in as many days

For the fourth time this season, the Chapman University women’s water polo team split a doubleheader, as they lost 9-6 to Carthage College but won the second game 14-8 over the University of La Verne on Saturday at the Allred Aquatics Center. [more]

The Chapman University softball team defeated DeSales University (Pa.) 6-1 on Thursday afternoon, but couldn’t rally for a second victory, dropping the late game 7-6 to Holy Names University in the Sun West Tournament at Hart Park. The Panthers have earned splits in five of their seven doubleheaders this season and are now 2-2 in tournament play. [more]
