Kat Kowalski - Women's Volleyball

On Saturday, the junior setter surpassed 1,000 assists in a season for the second time in her career. She currently ranks No. 2 in Chapman history in career assists with 2,898 and is on pace to shatter the school record for career assists (3,366) as a senior next season. One reason is performances like her match against Redlands earlier this month. Kowalski recorded a school-record 68 assists in the Panthers' five-game victory over the rival Bulldogs and added 20 digs. Not only does she have 1,021 assists this year, but she ranks second on the team with a career-high 288 digs. That victory over Redlands began a string of five wins in a row for Chapman - all on the road - and it has won six of its past eight heading into the regular season finale next week.
