Kyle Wood - Men's Basketball

The senior point guard on Thursday became just the seventh player in Chapman's Division III history to earn over 1,000 points in his career. Wood scored 13 in the Panthers' 79-66 win over Southwestern College (Ariz.) and now has 1,011 career points. The senior currently ranks second on the team with 13.4 points per game and leads the team with 50 assists helping the No. 13-ranked Panthers to an 18-2 record overall. In 20 starts, Wood has scored in double figures 14 times. Thursday's performance was his season-high fifth straight game with 13 or more points and Chapman's eighth consecutive win.
